A-CV60 185520 0910 Chrysler Valiant 1960-62 £ 10.95

The Valiant was introduced by Chrysler in the compact car category to rival the Corvair and Falcon. Reaction to the styling was ambivalent but all agreed that the engine and transmission were good. A Station Wagon was introduced the following year. By 1962 there were seven models with many improvements under the skin including a larger petrol tank. This is a book of contemporary road test, technical and specification data, model introductions, drivers' impressions, long-term tests, racing. Models covered include:- V200 Station Wagon, V200, Signet 200, 170, S Automatic, R & S Series. 100 pages, 200 illus. SB.

A-CRPTPP 185520 6404 Chrysler PT Cruiser Performance Portfolio £ 13.95

A young stylist has successfully created a modern-looking shape out of classic design cues. Faired-in head and tail lamps plus modern streamlining has resulted in a hint of classic American hot-rod. Yet the PT Cruiser is also carefully targeted at a large segment of society. Inside are all the accoutrements of a modern mini-van, or MPV. Flexible seating and plenty of space and powered by an economical four cylinder engine driving the front wheels, the top speed of around 115mph was appreciated. There has subsequently been a diesel for Europe. This is a book of contemporary road and comparison tests, technical and specification data, introductory driving impressions, long term tests. 140 pages, 375 illus including over 50 in full colour. SB.
